EN Japanese Kitchen & Sake Bar (“the restaurant”) complies with the General Data & Protection Regulation, EU Regulation 2016/679, (“GDPR”) and privacy laws.
 

Legal basis and Purpose of the processing

The legal basis for processing personal data is
a) the consent which the customer (“data subject”) has given to process his or her personal data; b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract c) the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the restaurant, for example communications by the restaurant with the customers, d) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the restaurant is subject.
 

The purposes of the processing includes: a) enabling customers to make reservations, b) enabling the restaurant to communicate with its customers, c) (direct) marketing, d) employ personnel.

Record of processing activities
The restaurant collects the following personal data as provided by the customer:

  • Name and or Surname
  • Telephone number
  • Address (in case of delivery only)
  • Email address
  • Zip code (4 letter level)
  • IP address

The restaurant

  • Does not process personal data for any other purpose than those stated above
  • does not sell or transfer personal data to third parties;
  • will not use automated decision-making or profiling of individuals;
  • will not transfer data outside the EU.

The restaurant collects the following personal data of its employees:

  • Name
  • Surname
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Telephone number
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Nationality
  • BSN number
  • Bank account
     

Personal data shall be kept on file for as long as necessary for the purpose these have been collected for and or legal requirements.
 

Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the rights as provided by the GDPR which includes the right of access, the right of rectification, the right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’), the right to object.
